Back in the 1980s, we were regaled with stories of how expensive Big Macs were in Tokyo. Today, some 20 years later, Big Macs in Tokyo are now cheaper than they are in the USA. The absolute price may be higher, but, their hourly wages are higher, so they can more easily afford Big Macs.
