0xe0008497 - Incremental and differential backups are not possible because Microsoft Exchange is configured for circular logging
Wed, 08/05/2009 - 11:50 — johnkI got this in BackupExec 10d. It probably started because I enabled circular logging.
Follow the instructions on from the link.
For the First Storage Group, open Properties, and check it off on one of the tabs, so circular logging is disabled.
Then, you have to go into Services and restart the Exchange Store. The Symantec help does tell you this. (Maybe it's a Windows Server 2003 issue.)
