I suggest a revised test. It's called "No Rich Child Left Behind".

1. Sav-Mart has chicken on sale for $2.75 a bird.  Jon's Super has chicken
 for 2 for $5.  Which is the better deal?

2. You have $600 in the bank, your daddy died young for no reason at all 
they say.  School and books at the community college cost $150 per class.  
How many classes can you take this semester?

3. Rita from Detroit has good grades and good SATs, and got into U Mich, 
State U, and the local CC.  Her folks have only $10,000 in her college 
account, and they are non-union custodians.  What should she do?

a. the CC.
b. State U, because it's within range of their budget.
c. U Mich, to get the grants and loans and take the load off her folks.

4. Mike gets $2 a day for lunch from his mom.  Mike really wants the new 
Mars Volta / Talib Kweli / Dilated Peoples collaboration CD, which costs 
$15.  What's his best strategy to avoid starvation and get that CD.

a. ask his mom for $15 to get the CD.
b. eat a $1 burrito for 15 days, save up the money, and get the CD.
c. eat a $1 burrito for 8 days, get a CD R, and split the cost with 
Jamal who also wants the CD and has a burner.

and she gets to take dance classes, where there are a few white girls.
b. Susan, because her mom cleans up rooms at the Sheraton, and the bosses 
there are white, and she has met them.
c. Kristin, because her mom works at Roy's Burgers, and at lunch a lot of 
white people come in to eat, and she has met a few regulars.  Plus, her 
mom's half white herself, but that doesn't count.
d. Alice, because her mom's a stoned out gangster, and white people are 
always coming over to buy drugs or something.
